Oppo: the Reno and its retractable camera is revealed a little more
No hole on the screen of the next smartphone of the Chinese manufacturer since the camera lens dedicated to selfies is hidden on the edge of the phone.
The Chinese manufacturer Oppo is about to launch its new range of smartphones under its new brand Reno. The official announcement is scheduled for April 10, but images have already leaked from an astonishing source: Chinese online merchant sites like JD.com, Tmall and Suning.
The mobile is already available for pre-order in China, with a reduction of 500 yuan (66 euros) for any pre-order before April 18th. The price is not yet specified, the pre-orders posting 9,999 yuan (1,330 euros), probably pending the official launch. Many rumors circulate about the characteristics and the different variants.
A retractable front camera
According to information that would have leaked, Oppo could launch up to five different models, with some on the processor Snapdragon 855 , triple camera lens and a battery 4065 mAh with fast charge 50 W. The photos from the retailers show a model four Gradient colors : pink, purple, green and black. To obtain a borderless and seamless screen, Oppo added a singular element: the retractable front camera, like the one found on the Find X. This time, the system pivots to give it a triangular appearance.

These first images show only two photo lenses on the back of the camera, not three. However, the manufacturer had announced in February to use a triple lens solution, with 48-megapixel sensor , 120-degree ultra wide-angle lens, and telephoto lens, to obtain a 10x lossless zoom, with a launch in the second quarter of 2019. The photos would come so confirm the rumors of an economic model, announced with dual lens photo and Snapdragon 710 processor.
