Samsung A70, the reference for smartphones for small budgets?
For less than 400 euros, the Korean manufacturer Samsung offers a rich and powerful smartphone with a 6.7-inch screen and three cameras. Available from April 26, it incorporates fast charging and a fingerprint reader in the screen.
Samsung has unveiled the features of a new model mid-range smartphone , which comes to flesh out the Galaxy A series. With the Galaxy A70 , the Korean manufacturer sees things in large, literally, with a giant screen, but also the load fast, a high-end selfie camera , and a fingerprint reader under the screen.
The Samsung Galaxy A70 incorporates a 6.7-inch Super Amoled ” Infinity-U ” screen (with a U-shaped notch) that displays a Full HD + definition of 1.080 ◊ 2.400 pixels (392 dpi). Samsung has opted for a very elongated shape, with a ratio of 20: 9, but with thin edges to reduce the size of the device. The fingerprint reader has disappeared and is directly integrated into the screen.
Performance side, the processor is not yet known, Samsung has announced an eight-core processor. This may be the Snapdragon 670, or an Exynos home processor. It will be offered with 6 or 8 MB of RAM , and 128 GB of storage, it is possible to increase through the microSD port.
A 32 megapixel selfie sensor
As for photography, the Galaxy A70 has a triple-lens camera on the back. A 32 megapixel main module (f / 1.7), an ultra-wide angle lens (123 ∞) of 8 megapixels (f / 2.2), and finally a depth sensor of 5 megapixels (f / 2.2). The notch-shaped drop of water on top of the screen contains a sensor front 32 megapixels (f / 2.2) far greater than the 10 megapixel Galaxy S10.
Autonomy should be good despite the big screen, with a 4.500 mAh battery, Samsung says it should be enough for a day. In addition, the manufacturer has decided to add a quick charge 25 W, which is faster than that on the Galaxy S10 range . Only the Galaxy S10 5G also offers the 25W fast charging. The Galaxy A70 works with Android Pie (9.0), with the Samsung One UI overlay to offer, among others, the Bixby voice assistant , the application of be Samsung digital , one-handed navigation or night mode.
The shell is made up of what Samsung calls “3D Glasstic”, a plastic that looks like reflective glass. The devices will be available in four different colors with subtle gradations: blue, black, coral and white.
